Emperor's Challenge Pai Gow Poker

General Rules Of Play

Only Players who are seated may wager in game. Once a Player has placed a wager and received cards, the Player must remain seated until the completion of the round of play. Players cannot show their hands to any other Players in the game. Any incorrect number of cards dealt to either a Player or the Dealer constitutes a misdeal of the hand. Should any card in any Player’s hand be exposed during the dealing of the cards, such an event does not constitute a misdeal. Should more than one card be exposed during the dealing of the cards, the Supervisor will declare a complete misdeal of the hand. Should the Dealer expose one or more of the Dealer’s cards during the dealing of the cards, the Supervisor will declare a complete misdeal of the hand.An Ace is considered to be a “high” card except in a “straight” Ace, two, three, four, five sequence.

All management decisions are final.

Pai Gow Poker Is played with a 53-card deck, including a Joker. The game is one-on-one where the Player(s) are betting against the Banker, which is the Dealer. Each Player receives seven cards and they must create a five-card hand and a two-card hand. The five-card hand is ranked as in Poker. When setting the hand, the two-card hand may not be of higher Poker value than the five-card hand. The Joker can only be used to complete a straight, flush or a five or seven-card straight flush; otherwise it is treated as an Ace.

Emperor’s Challenge Is an optional proposition bet that considers the best Poker hand possible among the player’s seven cards. Bonus hands are awarded regardless of how the Player sets their hand. All bonus payouts are paid in accordance to the Emperor’s Treasure bonus pay table.

Players may bet any amount as long it is within the posted bonus betting limits. If a Player wagers $5 or more, they qualify for the Envy Bonus payouts. Players win the Envy Bonus when another hand in play (other than Dealer’s) receives a four-of-a-kind or higher. The Player who is awarded the Treasure Bonus of four-of-a-kind or better does not qualify for the Envy Bonus.

Pai Gow Insurance Is a second optional proposition bet where Players can wager on receiving a no pair better hand using all seven cards. Players may bet an amount as long as it is within the posted bonus betting limits. Qualifying hands start at Ace-high with the top award being a nine-high Pai Gow. All Pai Gow Insurance awards are paid according to the posted pay table.
