Three Card Poker
Three Card Poker is a fast paced game that presents multiple opportunities
for Players to win on every hand.
How The Game Is Played
Prior to the first card being dealt, each Player places an initial bet on the
ANTE space at his/her seat at the table. In addition to an ANTE wager,
Players have an option to place a PAIR PLUS wager.
All ANTE or PAIR PLUS wagers must be placed prior to the Dealer
announcing “no more bets”. No wager shall be made, increased, decreased
or withdrawn after the Dealer has dealt the first hand in the game.
All Players and the Dealer are dealt hands of three cards. Each Player
looks at their hand and has the option of placing a PLAY bet that is equal
to the amount wagered on the ANTE space or of “folding” (forfeiting) his/
her hand and ANTE wager and their PAIR PLUS wager if such a wager has
been made.
Once all wagers have been placed, the Dealer turns over the Dealer’s
Hand. The Dealer’s Hand “qualifies” for live play with a Queen high
or better.
After the Dealer’s Hand has been revealed, the Dealer turns over each
Player’s Hand to determine the outcome of all wagers. The outcome is
determined by head-to-head play between the Player and Dealer based on
the following possible hands (rankings from highest to lowest):
- Straight Flush
- Three of a Kind
- Straight
- Flush
- Pair
Highest Card(s)
If the Dealer’s Hand does not “qualify”, the Player’s ANTE bet is paid 1 to
1 and the Player’s PLAY bet is returned to the Player.
If the Dealer’s Hand “qualifies” and if the Player’s Hand beats the Dealer’s
hand, the Player’s ANTE and PLAY bets each are paid 1 to 1.
If the Dealer’s Hand “qualifies” and if the Dealer’s Hand beats the Player’s
Hand, the Player loses both his/her ANTE and PLAY bets.
ANTE Bonus Payouts
If a Player makes both the ANTE and PLAY bets, the Player will win a
Bonus payout on the following hands.
- Straight 1 to 1
- Three of a Kind 4 to 1
- Straight Flush 5 to 1
The Player will win the Bonus payout on these hands even if the Dealer’s
Hand beats the Player’s Hand provided the Player has made both the ANTE
and PLAY bets.
The PAIR PLUS Wager
The PAIR PLUS wager is an optional bet that allows each Player to bet
on the value of their hand and does NOT play against the Dealer’s cards.
The PAIR PLUS wager cannot exceed the amount of the ANTE wager.
If a Player has made wagers on the ANTE, PLAY and PAIR PLUS spaces, the
Player will receive a payout on the PAIR PLUS wager for the following hands:
- Pair 1 to 1
- Flush 4 to 1
- Straight 6 to 1
- Three of a Kind 30 to 1
- Straight Flush 40 to 1
If a Player has placed an ANTE wager and a PAIR PLUS wager but does not
make a PLAY wager the Player shall forfeit both ANTE and PAIR PLUS wagers.
General Rules Of Play
Only Players who are seated may wager in the game. Once a Player has
placed a wager and received cards, that Player must remain seated until
the completion of the round of play.
Each Player may play up to two (2) betting positions. A Player who is
playing two betting positions must act on the first hand dealt to his/her
before looking at and acting on the second hand.
Players cannot show their hands to other Players.
Any incorrect number of cards dealt to either a Player or the Dealer
constitutes a complete misdeal of the hand.
Should any card in any Player’s Hand be exposed during the dealing of the
cards, such an event does not constitute a misdeal. Should more than one
card be exposed during the dealing of the cards, the Dealer will declare a
complete misdeal of the hand.
Should the Dealer expose one or more of the Dealer’s cards during
the dealing of the cards, the Dealer will declare a complete misdeal
of the hand.
An Ace is considered to be a “high” card except in a “straight”
Ace-2-3 sequence.
All management decisions are final.
